Key Steps to Implement Better Data Driven Business (BDDB) with Highnix ERP

  1. Identify Data Sources: Determine the data sources you will use to create your BI model. Data can be generated from the Highnix ERP Analytic Report section, which includes three key reports:

    • BDDB CSV-B01-Grow Product Sales
    • BDDB CSV-B05A-Inventory
    • BDDB CSV-B05B-Transaction
These reports can be imported into the BI tool available on the IMDA website.

Highnix ERP supports two key BI model categories:

    • GROW PRODUCT SALES: Boost your revenue by enhancing sales through targeted marketing strategies. Use insights to focus on key products and services, offer promotions on underperforming items, or pair them with best-sellers to maximize results.
    • LOWER INVENTORY COSTS: Optimize demand and supply matching. Leverage insights to refine pricing models and improve inventory forecasting, helping you determine optimal stock replenishment frequencies.
  2. Clean and Transform the Data: Prepare your data by removing duplicates and unnecessary information, ensuring it’s ready for analysis.

  3. Create a Data Model: Organize the data into a structured model to facilitate analysis. This may involve establishing relationships between tables or creating summary tables from raw data. Utilize the provided templates to simplify the model creation process.

  4. Load Data into the BI Tool: Format the data according to the template requirements and load it into the Microsoft BI tool. This can be done using built-in import features or SQL commands.

  5. Create Visualizations and Reports: Use the Microsoft BI tool to design visualizations and reports, such as charts and graphs, to present the data in a meaningful way.

  6. Follow Import Instructions: Import your data into the BI templates provided by IMDA, which are included in the package mentioned above.
